Thanksgiving With Family and Some Snowy Sessions.

3 Days before Thanksgiving,  I scrambled around to do laundry so I could pack for our trip to New York to see my family and work a little bit  while I was home.  I knew it would be a whirlwind adventure, but about halfway through our rainy rainy drive, I knew just how much. The weather was insane. I'd forgotten in the last 13 years just how icy/snowy/ cold it can be in NY and PA. Insane. Scary. Beautiful.

After eating so much on Thanksgiving at the 3 different houses we went to, I rolled myself into bed to prepare for the Next day. Shooting day. The good kind of shooting. The kind where you have THIS to show for it after :

We had a lot of cold hands and used a lot of hand warmers that day, but I think the results were totally worth it.  What a great trip. :) 

The Williams Family

Saturday I had the pleasure of Meeting and shooting the Williams Family. We headed up to Great Falls in VA and the weather was amazing. I cant wait to go back there. :) We had a good time walking around Great Falls and taking in the wonderful Fall weather. The ground was still quite wet from all the rain we have had so we didn't get the chance to get down on the ground like I would have liked so I'm meeting up with Mom and the kiddos for a little mini follow up shoot to get some more good ones of the kids for her! How cute are they?

After Little Mans mini nap we popped him in the back of the truck for a couple shots that didn't involve getting him all muddy!

Back to School and Growing Fast

So this is my Baby. Funny, right? He doesn't look much like one. I really Can't believe how fast time has gone. Feels like just yesterday I was taking him to preschool and drawing crayon pictures on all his napkins in his lunch. Now we've graduated to pen. ;) 3rd grade is no joke. We tried to explain that to him, but Im not quite sure he is on board with the whole having to behave and actually read something every day thing. Grant me strength for homework time... But seriously, back to school means lots more organization is needed in this house. I guess that has to start with me? Oy. We're in trouble.
Anyway, This Morning was a rush to get ready but of COURSE I took the time to take a few pics of my handsome man. I mean, look at him. Isn't he gorgeous?! The First thing out of his mouth when we walked out the door was "It's FALL!!!!!". It was like it happened over night. We went to bed last night and it was summer and we woke up and there were leaves on the ground. So amazing...



And of course we must capture the new digs. These shoes will never look this new again. I thought I would freeze them in time.
